HOW TO PREPARE JACKFRUIT

Although jackfruit is huge and needs to be dried out and divided into fruits, seeds, etc. I think preparing your own is better than buying jackfruit in brine. You should handle Jackfruit on an easily cleaned surface due to its white sap. Lay a piece of plastic wrap down first. Keep your knife clean by wearing gloves and lubricating it.

Slice the jackfruit in half lengthwise, then slice each half twice to make four pieces.
If you want to eat the jackfruit, you’ll need to slice off the white core at the center of each quarter. To eat them later, roasted them. Break the jackfruit into smaller pieces.
